The Caribbean is a poor, rural group of countries. It is an Island Country with a hot & humid climate.

IG Factbook: "The Caribbean group of countries here are islands to the east of Central America consisting of Cuba, Haiti and the Dominican Republic. Haiti was the first independent nation of Latin America and the Caribbean and is the only nation ever to be established as a result of a successful slave revolt. Haiti shares a border with the Dominican Republic. The Dominican Republic sought to gain its own independence in 1821 but was conquered and ruled by the Haitians for 22 years - it finally attained independence as the Dominican Republic in 1844. Cuba is known for the socialist rebellion that achieved victory in 1959 led by figures such as Fidel Castro and Che Guevara. Under Castro, Cuba was a major contributor to anti-imperialist wars in Africa, Central America and Asia."

Tips
- This country is harder to infect in the Neurax Worm and Necroa Virus plagues. Due to the small size of the country, it is difficult to accurately send a Trojan Plane or Zombie Horde there. It is also very easy to miss when uninfected due to its small size. It shares this trait with the Philippines.
Trivia
- Although the American territory of Puerto Rico has appeared in Plague Inc., it does not appear in Plague Inc. Evolved due to its small size on a global scale. Other islands and island countries, such as the Bahamas, Jamaica, and Trinidad and Tobago have not appeared at all in either game.
- Although it does send ships to the UK, they are very rare in rate, only sending or receiving one every 100 days.
- In the Teleportation scenario, the Caribbean is one of the countries along with other island nations in which people choose to avoid being infected.
- When the Caribbean is in General Disruption, on the City Cam, it can be seen that on the wall, it is written "Cuba Libre", which means "Free Cuba" in Spanish.
- Also, when this country is in anarchy, it can be see another graffiti, which has written "Muerte", it means "Death" in Spanish.
- The helicopter seen in the Caribbean City Cam during General Disruption is a HAL Dhruv used by the Indian Army. The original photo was taken in January 2011.[1]
- In Plague Inc: The Board Game, all three cities in the Caribbean are centralized in Cuba as none of the cities from either the Dominican Republic or Haiti were ever included in it.
