Pus Explosion is an achievement in the Shadow Plague DLC. It requires that the map discovered by the historian in Dracula is destroyed after cysts on his hands burst and leaked pus across the map.

Gameplay
1. Start anywhere except Central Europe.
2. Evolve Therianthropy and Night Wraith and constantly keep your vampire moving from country to country. If it kills too many people and gets spotted, then the event will not occur.
3. Wait until this yellow News headline appears:
- Historian discovers ancient map of Romania
4. Evolve Shadow Blessing to spread your disease. You can also set up a Lair to get more DNA points if you want. 5. Wait for the following yellow news headline to appear:
- Historian's ancient map mentions Dracula
6. After that, this popup message will appear shorty after:
- Historian claims Dracula was real
7. Evolve Dark Pustules and infect Central Europe immediately. Soon, another popup message will appear which reads:
- Ancient Dracula map destroyed.
The achievement has been earned.
