Land Border Screening
Land Border Screening is a response in Cure Mode, it is unlocked along with other similar responses by acquiring "Border Monitoring", in which its function is to impose stricter regulations at land border posts between countries in order to prevent infected people from spreading the disease to areas with healthy populations.
Recommendations
One of the recommendations regarding this response is to use it after acquiring "New Infrastructure" in order to obtain the "Anti-Vaxxer" achievement.[1] By maintaining a stricter supervision of land borders, it decreases the likelihood of the infection advancing to other countries while they are trying to recover by applying quarantines, making the outbreak easier to isolate, which is particularly useful to avoid countries with many borders being affected considerably or becoming hotspots of infection.
Effects
After acquiring this response, several countries will implement stricter measures around their land borders, with a 20% chance that this governmental action will be implemented in a nation.[2] The player can check which countries have implemented these measures in the country information panel.
