Code segment interception is an unique ability exclusive to the Nano-Virus. It hacks parts of the Kill Switch broadcast, increasing the work and time required to develop a Cure.
Code segment interception along with other similar abilities are necessary to evolve at an early point in the game, due to the fact that the Nano-Virus is characterized by the fact that the cure will start immediately.[1] Approximately 30% to 40% is an ideal time to use the effects of this trait.[2][Note 1]

- ↑ This is an approximation, Nano-Virus is a plague that has different properties from the rest of the standards because the cure starts immediately, so the time to activate this ability may have to be earlier or later depending on the game, depending on what happens in the game, factors such as the difficulty, the severity of the disease or the concern of governments will affect when it is necessary to evolve it.
