New sterilisation filters are a news event which affects the way a plague spreads from country to country. This may happen with airplanes or ships. Only advanced water or airborne diseases can avoid these filters. Air 1 for airplanes and Water 1 for boats must be acquired to avoid the filters.
The news event says the following:
- Airplanes use new sterilisation air filters: New air filters are now being used to stop airplanes transmitting any disease between countries. Only advanced airborne/waterborne diseases can survive on them
- Ships use new sterilisation water filters: Ships use new sanitization cleaning techniques to combat diseases onboard. Only advanced waterborne diseases can survive on them.
