Public Awareness is a response in Cure Mode. It allows reducing infections, in addition to allowing people to know how the disease spreads and how to avoid future infections. This is one of the responses that requires very few resources to work.
Recommendations
One of the alternatives to be able to fight the infection in the middle of the game when trying to cure a Nano-Virus, is to acquire Public Awareness and other similar operations such as Hand Washing.[1]
Effects
- In the case that the player uses this response, countries will conduct public awareness campaigns about the disease, in order for this to happen the global priority must be 16 while the local priority must be 8,[2] in addition to the fact that the country must present at least a case of the disease[Note 1] for this action to be taken.[2]
Trivia
- By performing certain actions in addition to using this response with "Mask Wearing", the player can obtain the initiative combo of "Report thy neighbor".
Notes
- ↑ According to the game files, the country must have 0.001% of the population infected, in other words, a percentage too low for this action to be executed. (The information about the probability of each action is found under the variable "condition_local_infected_percent", in which you have to convert the decimal into a normal percentage to decipher how likely an action is to be executed).
