Ionised Helix is a gene available for the standard plagues and the Neurax Worm DLC.
Recommendations
- It is possible to use this gene for plagues in which there is a refund or don't cost DNA points, such as Bacteria, Parasite, Prion or Bio-Weapon.[1]
- The Italian gaming website Player.it recommends using this gene to beat Nano-Virus.[2]
Trivia
- This gene is useful at lower difficulties, as it can involute low level Symptoms, i.e. it releases DNA Points that can be used to evolve higher level Symptoms. In general, it reduces the total cost.
- In the Virus disease type, despite using this gene will still cost DNA points to devolve traits, although the cost will be lower compared to not using genes.[3]
