Hyper Sensitivity is a symptom that affects the patient's blood system and additionally makes the disease a little more difficult to cure. It is found in the standard plagues as well as Shadow Plague and the Smallpox and Black Death scenarios. It will increase the likelihood of serious allergic reactions. Additionally, it helps to increase the effectiveness of the pathogen in rich countries.

The variant of this symptom is characterized by making the Shadow Plague pathogen much more difficult to cure as well as to investigate.

It is required to get the Evil Is A Point Of View symptom combo, along with Pallor and Pheromone secretion.

Events

Artifical Organs

If evolved during the Artificial Organs scenario in conjunction with Insanity, it will cause the infected to tear out their organs, causing a jump in death rate. For this to happen, the disease must infect more than 10% of the population of the country where the player started.[1]
