Darwinist is a gene available in the standard plagues, in addition to the Neurax Worm and Necroa Virus. This gene contributes to increasing the mutation rate of the disease. The opposite of the gene Creationist.
Recommendations
- This can amplify the tendency of Virus to randomly mutate.
- According to the Japanese video game magazine Famitsu, it is recommended to use this gene for the genetic code of Nano-Virus on Brutal difficulty, to mutate symptoms quickly to obtain more infectivity, severity or lethality.[1] Additionally, Famitsu recommends using this gene in order to beat the Swine Flu scenario.[2]
- According to the Twinfinite website, it recommends using this gene in the Necroa Virus Genetic Code, so that it mutates enough to get more symptoms and win the game.[3] The Russian gaming website MMOHelper.ru also recommends this gene in order to beat this special plague.[4]

- The name of this gene is a reference to Charles Darwin, an English naturalist, best known for his contributions to evolutionary biology.
