Pneumonic plague is an unique ability exclusive to the Black Death scenario. With it, a plague gains the ability to infect the respiratory system and cause a sort of pneumonia. The plague gains the ability to travel through the air, and is rather infectious. This unlocks the air transmission tree in the Black Death scenario.
